Biography.Farkhod Tolipov holds PhD in political science, and graduated from Tashkent State University in 1983 and special English courses at the Tashkent State Institute of Foreign Languages in 1989. Trained at the NATO Defense College (Rome, 1997 and 2013). .), Harvard University (USA, 1999), taught at the University of Georgia (USA, 2004), METU University (Ankara, 2015), Atilim University (Ankara, 2016). Lectured at the J. Marshall Center. (Germany, 2004, 2005), the Geneva Center for Security Policy (Switzerland, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011), University of Le Havre (France, 2010), OSCE Academy in Bishkek (2004 , 2009).
1994 – 2005 Farkhod Tolipov taught at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, 2005 – 2010 taught at the National University of Uzbekistan. 1998 – 2002 worked as Chief consultant in the Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He also worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies. Farkhod Tolipov is member of the Editorial Board of the Central Asia and the Caucasus journal (Sweden), member of the advisory group of the China and Eurasia Forum Quarterly magazine (USA), member of the Central Eurasian Studies Society (CESS), member of the PIR Center expert group (Moscow) and Security Index magazine.
